Your account and projects

Your login ID, password verifier, profile, project membership, and recovery-code verifier are stored to provide account access. Your password and recovery code are not shown to project organizers. Keep the recovery code you receive when creating your account.

Shared plans and files

People admitted to a project can view its schedule and uploaded files. Editors can change plans and files; the owner manages project setup and access. Participant filters only change the displayed schedule. They do not hide information from other project members.

Plans and files are stored in the app’s hosted database and private file storage. Uploads are not automatically copied to Google Drive. When document reading is activated, travel images and PDFs can fill project booking information. Uploaded files record the uploader and time. Itinerary changes record editor names and times; shared family edits are attributed to Family.

Personal Files & Photos

Files uploaded from your personal dashboard belong to your account across projects. They are private unless you choose to share an individual file with another registered account. Recipients can view and download it. Only you can manage sharing or delete your original. Family project membership does not grant access to personal files. Revoking sharing stops future access but does not remove copies already downloaded.

Reading travel documents

When the organizer activates AI document reading, eligible images and PDFs uploaded inside a project can be sent to OpenAI to extract flight, hotel, restaurant and place details. You can turn automatic reading off in project Files & Photos. In personal Files & Photos, choose a destination project before importing travel details; your original remains private. Private identity documents are excluded from project imports. Clear details are added with source references; uncertain or conflicting details need review. Imported details do not book, cancel or change an external reservation.

Authorized AI collaboration

Connecting a ChatGPT account is optional and separate from ordinary ID/password sign-in. An approved collaborator’s connected tool may read or edit the project within its granted scope. Only project owners approve that access; it can be revoked.

Retention and removal

Archived projects retain their data. File deletion asks for confirmation; files used as project images must first be removed from Project Setup. Automated account deletion and emailed password recovery are not available in this family release.
